9月5日上午，国家主席习近平在北京人民大会堂出席中非合作论坛北京峰会开幕式并发表主旨讲话时指出，非洲有句谚语“同路人才是真朋友”。现代化道路上一个都不能少，一国都不能掉队。埃塞俄比亚航空集团中国区总经理谷蔼明(Aman Wole Gurmu)向中新社中新网记者表示，这一点在这个时代非常有意义。他认为，现代化是每个企业和国家发展的关键和重要途径，而他在中国工作生活的时候，就为中国现代化的程度震撼。

　　他进一步解释道，埃塞俄比亚航空集团就是很好的佐证之一，中国大力支持埃塞俄比亚航空的物流领域，让其得以经营现代化和高科技的机群。“中非合作机遇无限，中非关系也迈上了新台阶，我相信未来充满光明，”谷蔼明总结道。(吴家驹 陈天浩)

Aman Wole Gurmu, country director of China for Ethiopian Airlines, notes that modernization is a key and important tool for any business and any nation to develop, and he was very much impressed during his stay in China by the modernization of Chinese technology.
